Languages Supported by NICeMail

NICeMail supports 23 languages, including 22 Indian languages and English, to  enhance user accessibility and make navigation smoother.

Note

For users who prefer typing in their native or preferred language in NICeMail, it is essential to download and use the necessary language file or input tools.

Changing Display Language

You can change the display language in your settings according to your preference.

  1. Log in to https://mail.gov.in/
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Navigate to System.
  4. In the Display Language section, you can choose any one of the 23 languages available using the dropdown menu. You can also use the search bar to find the language of your choice.
  5. Once done, refresh your browser to see the change in effect.

You can also choose to switch back to English before refreshing the page to apply the language change.

Changing Display Language from Workplace Settings

Follow these steps to change the language preferences of your account from the workplace settings.

  1. Login to https://mail.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to Workplace Dashboard from the top pane.
  3. Click the Workplace Settings icon in the lower-right corner of your screen.
  4. Select Language settings from the left pane. 
  5. Choose your desired display language from the available options.
